We have a new associate spotlight! It’s time to highlight the collaborative spirit and hard work of Vicki Slekar in our Meridian, ID branch.  

As an Escrow Assistant who is part of TEAM GREEN, Vicki’s job comprises a little of everything, including being responsible for fundings. If something needs to get done, Vicki is always ready to help her customers and colleagues in every way she can.

Vicki, who has been with Alliance Title for four years, emphasizes the importance of communication and believes it’s a major reason why the Meridian branch has such a smooth operation day in and day out. Vicki says there’s always something special about helping people and families realize their homeownership dreams.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find Vicki enjoying some sort of outdoor activity with her husband, such as hiking or biking. Family is very important to Vicki. In fact, she identifies her sister, Catalina, as the person she admires most. Much like herself, Catalina is always ready to help – and even donated a kidney to another family member.  

“She’s supportive of our entire family,” Vicki said. “Catalina is never too busy to help anyone in need and is such a giving and caring person. She’s my hero.”

Vicki views every day as a chance to better herself in some way. That attitude is the driver of her continued success. She encourages people to look inward and not compare themselves to other people with this piece of advice from Dr. Wayne W. Dyer.

“My goal is not to be better than anyone else but to be better than I used to be.”
